This last year has been a strange journey through which I have examined myself and my art. Because my art is so stylized I thought maybe people thought I had no basic drawing skills or understanding of how things went together. Not that I care so much about what people think, I decided to do two shows devoted mostly to my drawing which is still very stylized but very detailed. Before I had been trying to capture an animal, its presence, its bulk and power distilled down to a line. This time I went with both line and hyper-detail.
