At the heart of my artwork is a love of observation—to look past the obvious and capture the details that are often overlooked.

My interpretation and narration is reflected in subtle coloring and delicate strokes of the pastel medium.

By bringing the viewer “up close and personal” to the subject using less conventional compositions, they are challenged to look beyond the obvious, to see the unique, and to take their time to contemplate the less ordinary and to discover beauty in the ordinary.
