I spend a lot of time in my other home in Zimbabwe. I have watched Cheetah in the national parks and spent many hours observing and sketching them. I always try to capture the strength and energy of big cats in the wild. I take wax with me, and start making the hollow wax image in the park while surrounded by wild animals. I stuff wet newspaper into the wax because of the heat. I complete the wax image when I get home and I then make a mold in preparation for casting at a foundry.
