Visiting Tanzania this time we saw several leopards, but this one, in particular, caught my eye as he lazed in the old tree until suddenly something caught his eye. Instantly he was alert and assessing the situation. The whole scene was my inspiration, from the beautiful creature to the ancient place that was his lookout. Hence the title “The Coyne of Vantage.” His tail was also hanging below the branch—the sure give-away that he was hiding there.
