Birds migrate over a long distance every fall and spring, mostly at night. They seem to stop in the same areas every year, in great numbers, to feed and rest during the day. Humans also flock to the same places to bird watch. They drive at night, so they can be there on the arrival of the birds. Respect the birds’ need to rest before they embark on the next leg of their journey.
